Submissions

The submission deadline has passed

 

The conference encourages submissions from students, faculty, researchers and practitioners in the field.  We welcome the following types of submissions:

 

1.  Individual Papers (Oral Presentations)
These will consist of 20-minute presentations.  They will be grouped with related  papers in sessions.

2.  Posters

Posters will be grouped by themes and will be presented at scheduled

poster sessions.

3.  Symposia
The symposia will be focused sessions built around a theme and lasting 1.5 (i.e. 3-4 papers, plus a discussant if possible).  The convener will function as the chair, will organize the participants and identify a discussant.

4.  Workshops
This is a 3 hour interactive session in which the workshop leader introduces particular research skills, skills for community work or details of particular theoretical developments. 

5.  Hot topics and Round Table Discussions

     1.5 hour interactive sessions on current issues within health

psychology.

6.  Other Presentations
Could include exhibitions, dramatizations or multi-media presentations.

 

Abstract Preparation and Formatting

Please include the following information at the top of your abstract:

  1. title of the presentation in CAPITAL letters
  2. name(s) of author(s), with the name of the presenter underlined
  3. author'(s) organization/affiliation including department and countries
  4. contact information for presenting author
  5. indicate if the submission is for an oral, poster, symposium, workshop, roundtable or other presentation.

Please type abstracts single-spaced, 12 point font.  The body of the abstract should be typed as one paragraph and should not exceed 200 words. For Symposia, please include an introductory abstract and title for the Symposium and submit all presentations together.

All abstracts will be reviewed by the Program Committee

     All abstracts accepted for the conference will be included in the conference program book, which will be provided to all conference participants.
