Children for Charity

This is a picture of A.J. Rodriguez from Manasquan, New Jersey. He is six years old and a regular volunteer with Blossom International. Here he has just completed a necklace that has since been mailed overseas to a non-profit teaching the power of performance in Oldham, England. There it will be received by children as a reward for their hard and inspiring work. When I asked A.J. if he liked volunteering at the most recent event this weekend he said, "Who doesn’t like to volunteer?" He had the most serious of faces on as he carefully stacked bed sheets that would be handed out to families who need them.
He’s changing the world in a positive way and enjoys doing it. Children for Charity is a program that is needed in all communities across the globe. Teaching our children that they have the ability to make a positive difference means that the future will be positive.
THE NEED: Teaching children empathy and compassion and giving them a sense of empowerment in their world by allowing their ideas and thoughts in regards to charity to become action is paramount for the future of our world.
THE ACTION: Children for Charity program that allows children to volunteer in their communities.
